SERVICES:
Straight Felling
The straight fell of trees is the removal of trees as a single unit. Straight felling will be limited to such situations that pose zero risk of damage to any property or persons whatsoever. Only when all risks have been taken into account, such as telephone and power cables not crossing through and are clear of the tree, the tree has a natural lean towards the felling direction or is standing straight and balanced, at least 5m clearance from buildings or any other structure that may be damaged, then the tree can be felled from ground level.

Section Tree Felling
The Tree Trimming Guys provide this service when a tree has to be taken down and is in an awkward location, with multiple targets (structures that can be damaged). This means that the tree needs to be felled in sections using advanced rigging techniques and in some occasions using a crane.
The process begins by a climber installing a rigging line in the top of the tree overhanging an appropriate lowering point. Then we will begin from the bottom of the tree crown and attach the lowering rope to the first branch from the crown break. We then make a controlled cut in the direction that we want the branch to move. Finally it is over to the groundsmen to lower the branch in a safe and controlled manner to the ground. This is then processed and extracted from the garden and removed. This process is repeated until we have reached the top of the tree and is only left with a standing straight stem.
The remaining tree will either be cut into small manageable sections and thrown to the ground, or lowered off itself using blocks and pulleys.
Stump Grinding
Stump grinding involves the removal of stump to a specified depth. Upon completion of stump removal, the remaining hole will be back-filled with soil or grinding waste to leave a level minimal trace of the work. The complete removal of a tree trunk is a job for and only for a stump grinder, this is a machine with carbine tipped teeth attached to a large rotating wheel with the teeth attached at different angles at sequence all around the wheel. This creates a bread knife affect. This machine is operated by one man, once the stump has turned into mulch and a hole has replaced the tree stump, the hole is then filled back in with the mulch.
Crown Reductions, Shaping, Pruning & Thinning
Each tree will be individually considered in relation to the shape, size, character, condition, site and species of tree. All operations will be completed leaving each tree in an acceptable, well-balanced and safe condition. Each branch will be removed using the ABC cut method where risk of tearing is reduced.
All large limbs will be lowered by ropes and slings to avoid damage to the tree and its surroundings. We will ensure that all sections fall to the ground in a controlled manner. Dead, diseased or damaged branches will be pruned back to the corresponding branch collar. In the case of crossed rubbing branches, the branches will be assessed, pruned or removed appropriately, whilst ensuring that a reasonable overall shape is maintained.
We provide a number of additional services, simply give us a call and we will give you the best advice for your project and match it with a competitive price to boot.

Things To Do In Beaver Dam, WI
Elkhart Lake: Located in Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine State Forest only 1 hour from Milwaukee and about 2 hours from Chicago, Elkhart Lake is one of the oldest Wisconsin resort lakes and has been a popular summer destination since 1860. The resorts around the lake were famous for sailing, bathing, and gambling. Of the 446 hotel rooms that existed at that time, many are still around, now renovated and updated.
Beaver Dam Lake: Located in central Wisconsin around 40 miles from Madison and 60 miles from Milwaukee, Beaver Dam Lake is a 5,540-acre man-made body of water with 39 miles of shoreline surrounded by rolling Wisconsin farmland. The lake was created in 1842 by impounding the Beaver Dam River with a series of dams that were to power a gristmill and a sawmill.
Big Green Lake: Green Lake, also called Big Green Lake, is the deepest inland lake in Wisconsin. This natural lake is also one of the oldest resort communities in the state. The spring-fed lake’s maximum depth is 239 feet and its water is exceptionally clean, with plentiful algae and many species of fish that require oxygen-rich water, such as walleye, largemouth bass, northern pike, muskie, crappie, bluegill, and lake sturgeon.
Castle Rock Lake: Castle Rock is a massive 16,640-acre lake in the Central Sands Prairie region of Wisconsin, in Adams and Juneau Counties. It, together with Lake Petenwell, was created by impounding of the Yellow and Wisconsin Rivers when the Castle Rock Dam was created.
Delavan Lake: Delavan Lake is located in Wisconsin’s Southern Savanna region, about 63 miles from Madison and 87 miles from Chicago. The lake has been operated as a summer resort since the 1800s. There are several houses here that were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and he even designed two boathouses on the lake. Although still heavily developed today, Delavan Lake is mostly used for sailing and water sports.
